| Justification of the problem taking into account the baseline situation in the project region |
The small town of Uzda is home to 2,500 minors, including over 100 children with disabilities. The library is equipped with modern equipment and a diverse collection. To enhance the use of books in the leisure time of minors and children with disabilities, it is necessary to conduct outreach activities in their communities. This includes overcoming communication barriers and creating equal opportunities, including socialization between children with disabilities and their healthy peers, and developing their creative and intellectual abilities. |

Improving the book and reading habits of minors during the holidays, and the reading culture of children and adolescents, including children with disabilities, through the implementation of project and game activities in a specially created cultural space. |

Expanding the project’s reach beyond city schoolchildren to include children and adolescents living in rural areas. Plans are underway to include preschool-aged children as well. Conducting peer-to-peer learning events. Publishing the booklet «My City, Let’s Read Together!». |
